We listen, act and transform
If you answered yes to any of the questions above and feel that it resonates with your experiences, then I invite you to read more.
It takes courage and determination to evolve past hurt and traumas in your life. When you have done your deep inner healing work and released past pain in your life this allows for a new version of yourself to emerge - the healed version of you. You are safe now. Your mind, body and soul are adjusting to this new way of being. Who you once were in the world has shifted and sometimes this brings about grief. Yes, you can grieve even the things, people, places that are not healthy or helpful in life.
We are a trauma focused based practice. Our work with clients is providing safe, compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you can just learn to be. Sitting in the presence of safety and learn to integrate into your mind and body the balance it has been seeking.
Healing is multilayered and a beautiful process when one learns how to allow oneself to feel without expectations or being caught up with self judgement. You have done your work from how other have treated you, now it is time that you learn to relearn how to treat yourself.
These uncomfortable feelings and emotions may have been suppressed for far too long and now these parts of self are ready to be seen and heard. When navigating life in survival mode, you move away from connection and into protection mode. However, now that you have addressed the trauma your mind, body and soul are on a path to connecting again. Connection is what the human body yearns for.
What you can expect at Evolve-Integrative Counseling, is a transformative experience where you will begin to see yourself in a light that will help you move beyond your fears into a life where you are the author, and you write your scripts.
